I overslept yesterday but still managed to get in school earlier than 8.30 with my mum. When I reached there, many others were there also. We went to register and went to the auditorium and was seated there at 8.35, which was quite early. Then, Ms Letchmi presented to the parents about what is SLC and what is the meaning behind it. After that, we were all allocated to our respective venues. Luckily, all the Sec 1's were allocted to the auditorium, which means that we need not move. Then for the next half an hour to forty five minutes or so, I was there presenting my SLC portfolio to my mum.
At 10, we went out of the auditorium for refreshments. When my mum saw many people walking away, she asked if we can go now. In the end, we still went back to home.

Thats all. Was havong my sabbaticals this week. My sabbatical was Discovery and Re-Discovery Maths. I was the only iSpark selected to be in this sabbatical.I forgotten what I had been doing for the past few days and I missed the last part of the sabbatical which was giving out the snacks as I was dismissed at 12pm in order to go for the trainfire test. Missed the best part of the sabbatival.. Sigh.. Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself in this sabbatical.
After I was dismissed, I changed to my No.4(NCC Uniform) and boarded the bus there. We were quite nervous on our way there as there were quite a few things to be tested. However, we found out that there was only one thing to be tested, which was another thing we haven't learnt before. I was quite unsure of the whole loading and unloading but after many tries, I managed to remember the steps. During the test itself, I did quite ok and managed to pass the test.. After that, we were informed that we all passed the test. We felt happy about it at first, but little did we know what's coming our way..
After we reached school, we were scolded by our seargeant cause it was a crap test and had it been a strict one, not all of us would have passed so easily. After that, we were pumped 200 as there were two people who pon or skipped training. A "policy" was implemented that we had to do hundred push ups for each platoon mate who pons. There were two, so we had to do 200. Not all my platoon mates was able to hang on, endure and did finished the push ups. There was someone sitting in front of me, and two on the left side of me thus it's a bit demoralising as they were resting there while the others were doing including me. With all the encouragement from my platoon mates, I managed to hang on and endured through this punishment. After that, we did a little more drills and we had our debrief. Well, I forgotten almost every thing they said but I still remember them saying:" Everything you do in NCC has its own purpose."
That's all ..Bye~

PDS(Precision Drill Squad)

My PDS training was on Wednesday and there is no training on Friday for NCC this week because of the examinations. Used to blog at weekends..
On Wednesday..
Our first PDS training. We were asked to fall in at 3. Luckily no one pon. Then we went to log room to get our rifles. Some were quite light and some were very heavy. Then we were there practising our normal drills, but the special thing was that we need to hold the rifle to do the drills, which was very tiring but I had to endure for the sake to train up my arm power.. It ended at 6pm. The first PDS training was not bad afterall and the next one is going to be after the examinations..
Friday
No NCC training today. Had been feeling quite bored so went to Leon's house which was not that far from mine. (Eight MRT stops) After I went there then I realised that Leon's has a younger brother and sister. Haha. Then we were there playing basketball, toy-sized and there shooting and played the computer too.
Today
I woke up at 5am. Unable to sleep. At 6am, noises could be heard and there was the smashing sound of glass. My neighbourhood always had fights.. Gonna play basketball afterwards.. It was quite an unlucky day for me because I am almost unable to get down the bus while going to school. When I reached the school, I found out that I still haven't finish my letter.. Going to get scolding again..
After flag raising, we got out english test paper back. Did quite ok for it, scoring my first A1 for english. It was quite normal as 21 out of 26 students people in the class scored A1. After recess, we had our chinese test.. I bet the first section of the paper I had already lost more than half of the marks.. The we had our science test.. Hard for me as I revised a little only.. Bet that I failed my science paper..
After school, we had our projects day finals. As we never prepared the script, it was quite hard for us to talk through the website. From the judge's faces, I think they are quite unhappy with our project.. Flunk the finals.. Haha..
After finals, I saw Yu Quan and my other friends playing soccer there. I joined them for awhile. Then they wanted to go home, and it's only 3.30pm only. So I took 66, with YuQuan and WeiLun to where they lived. We walked and walked until both of them reached their home. They told me to walk around first and will call me to play basketball later. Time flies.. After I walked around the Bukit Batok compound, I realised that it was time to go to the community centre to play basketball. Saw YuQuan and WeiLun there. Then we started playing basketball. I had quite a good start but pratically most of my layout sux. We played a few matchs and managed to score one for each match. Haha. Afte that, it was time to go home. I dragged my weary feet and I went home takng an MRT instead of a bus..

=.=The End=.=

National Day Carnival

Today, I woke up from bed at 5am, feeling weak and restless. I was in the marching contigent of NCC so I had to fall in at the school at 6.30am. I took my temperature and it was 38.1 degrees. My mum advised me not to go for the marching contigent. I don't want to pull the whole part down by reporting sick so I told my section I/C I wasn't going for the march. There was nothing to do since I woke up so early so I went back to sleep. Nevertheless, I still went to school. Surprisingly, the bus I boared was not even crowded. It was supposed to be crowded in the morning. I managed to find a seat to sit on the bus and dozed off..
At 7.15am, we proceeded to the terraces to see the National Day ceremony. It was quite ok but the armswing of my part wasn't coordinated with the NPCC. Thus, making it look quite weird. Then everything was fine, no one reported sick. Nothing. Finally, it's the march-in part. We did quite ok when we marched onto to track. When, the track bends, the part's armswing were all screwed up and I could hear laughter coming from behind. I just watched on.
Finally, the parade was over. We went to our store to see the business. I bought a cup of float to support our store. Leon and I just walked around, looking for what to do. At about 9.20am, our store was running out of stocks. Leon volunteered to buy the things needed, and asked me to go. Daniel and Wei Lun also went with us too. We past the NCC cadets but didn't managed to pass the security guard as we needed a pass to go out. Wei Lun asked Mr Quek to follow us and after the security guard said we could go, we ran to coronation plaza. It was quite near, though. We bought four 1.5litres of coke, two tubs of ice-cream, sixty plastic spoons and ninety plastic cups. It amounted to a total of twenty-two dollars. Then Wei Lun and me carried 2 bottles of coke respectively. Leon carried the ice cream and Daniel carried the rest. Wei Lun was running so fast that I could't even catch up. I was way in front of Leon and Daniel but was way behind Wei Lun. However, I still managed to run back even thought I got a fever. Then for the rest of the time, I was playing soccer until 11. Then I went to Lot 1 and saw my primary school friends. That's all.. So many things had happened today. Coincidentally, today was also Dress Down Day, which we were allowed to wear home clothes there. We were strongly encouraged to wear red, yellow or orange but my section IC phoned me yesterday and asked me to wear the NCC unit tee, which was black in colour. They said we must standardise so I had no choice but to wear the unit tee. When I reached school, I found out that Raffles supporters were dresses in white and black. I followed my IC foolishly.. But nevertheless, I wore the black shirt throughout the whole day. The day passed by almost smoothly but there was a fire alarm at 12.30pm. Thanks to that we had to "suntan" for awhile.
In the afternoon, we had our NCC training. A bad start for me as I lost one of my garters(used to tie around our leg) so I had to do 40 push-ups. We did quite ok for the drills session and we were dismissed at 4pm. We were scolded for wearing the unit tee and was asked to change another shirt. Luckily, I had PE today so I had my PE T-shirt, and we went to the terraces to watcch the soccer match. The match haven't even started when we reached there. We went to buy some drinks during the match. The match was something like "kampung soccer" where many people went to chase one ball.
In the end, the match ended with a draw and the score was 0-0. There was no extra time so we went straight into the penalty shootout. Raffles started the penalty shootout. Raffles managed to score the first penalty but one of our player's shot flew wide. For the second and the third penalty, both sides managed to score. Here come's Raffles with the fourth shot and the shot flew over the crossbar. I think the penalty taker look "down" on the keeper(as the keeper was quite short) so he shot to the top corner, and it missed. We managed to score the fourth penalty slowly and steadily. Here come's the most deciding penalty. The Raffles penalty taker also had the same view as the fourth person and the shot flew wide also. Our school player managed to score the fifth penalty slowly and steadily. As we scored it, all the Hwa Chong people flew into chaos and ran onto the field. In the end Hwa Chong won, by 4-3 in the penalty shootout.
After that, I went home and saw another friend on the bus. I tapped my card as I boarded the bus but I felt the bus driver pulling my bag. He asked me to tap my card again as he didn't believe I tapped my card. I tapped it and on the screen and it showed "Entry Ok". My friend was laughing his head off when he saw this. He said that I looked like an ex-convict that's why the bus driver don't believe me. I don't know what to say to this comment, but do I really look like an ex-convict? Indeed it looked like one on the Ez-link card but I'm look completely different without my spectacles. The bus trip was rather fine, with my friend keep on laughing at this incident.. That's all. I was at the computer lab, doing my flash project. I did it until I forgot about the time. I had NCC on 4pm. It was 3.40pm then I realised the time. My friends and I decided to change in there as there was no time. After I changed, I forgot to took my wallet and handphone with me and I dashed out of the computer lab for NCC..

Finally, NCC was over. I was fumbling with my bag to find my wallet and my handphone but to no avail. I thought of the places I went before. I went to the computer lab, sadly, it was locked. I went to the general office, and it was LOCKED too. I gave up and took a bus home using cash, thinking of the scoldings I would get. However, I didn't get a scolding when I reached home. Instead, my parents were elated as I lost my handphone as they don't need to pay for my handphone bills. -.- was my expression. The next day, I forgotten everything about my phone and wallet until the Australian Maths Competiton was over. I used Daniel's phone to call my own handphone. Then I realised it was the technician who took it.. Then I went to get my wallet and handphone back. I don't know what he did with it but I tried to call twice but it failed but it sill deducted money from my SIM card.. That's all for it..

NCC was pretty ok yesterday, except that we were doing drills until for about 5pm. We were marching all the way for the drills session. Nevertheless, many people reported sick, including me. It was almost the end of the drills session but I can't hold on cause of my dizziness. After the drills session, we had the games session, which was quite rare for NCC training for the next training, next month or next half a year so our seargeant told us to treasure this games session. I also joined in the game as I recovered and in the end the opponent scored 1-0. We had a debrief and went home straight afterwards.. That's all for this week.. We were dismissed at 12pm. The bus took about 30minutes to get there. Reaching there, we saw many other schools. There were only five or six schools. The first match was the fastest ending match. It ended by just two seconds. I don't know what school was that but it was surely thrilling.. I forgot how many wins and losses we got but in the end, we got the champions for the A, B and C boys. A girls got a silver award as the last match we were at a disadvantage as the opponent was so big sized. In the end, we got three golds and one silver, an incredible achievement for our school. We were dismissed at about 4.30pm..
Today, Mr Hon told us about the medals we had won yesterday. We bagged a total of TEN golds yesterday. Three from track and field, three from Judo, two from gymnastics and two from air rifle. Our medals won this year were increased by another ten. Winning ten golds in a day.. of course there's a half day. We were dismissed at 11.20am. I'm feeling bored at home so I decided to post.. That's all.. Polishing boots now for ORD tomorrow..

Last Day Of Training for the Sec four NCOs

Yesterday.. was the last day we had our training with our sec 4's. Next week, the sec 3 will be taking over as NCO's so our Part IC said we must put in your effort in this training. It started off pretty well, the drills were quite good. However, after the sec 3 took over, the drills seem to deteriorate a bit.. but it managed to crawl up to our standard at the end of the drills section. It ended about 4, which is the earliest and fastest drill section which ever end. Then we changed into our PT kit and ran all the way to KAP(King Albert Park) It was quite near though as I didn't even feel tired at all. Then I realised it was only about 2.5km.. We went there and the staff treated us to ice-cream(the 50cent on in Mcdonalds..) After we finished everything, we walk-cum-run back to school. I got mud all over my PE shirt.. After the debrief, many people and I stayed back to play soccer since this was the last training. We played until 7.40 until we finally went home.. I reached home at 8.35pm.. THE LATEST TIME I REACHED HOME..

This post is also the shortest post I ever post..

-DeAd TiReD-

Friday- Supposed to have NCC training but it was cancelled as Sir do not approve it... So we played soccer instead. Was leading 2-0 before half time but still lost with 4-3 in the end. Sigh... that wasn't the end of my bad luck... Next we went to the street soccer court.. Won 2-0 for the first match and drew 1-1 for the second. For the second match, it lasted quite long for me. However, our team's stamina was quite strong and managed to hang on. It ended all with a penalty shootout which lasted quite long too... and Kenji scored the golden goal... Congrats to him anyway. Haha. After that, listening to my section IC talk some c0ck about pwning... sure made me sleepy.. After that long session, we went to play soccer again..where my worst dreams started.. And I finally scored a goal. But I wasn't even happy.. CAUSE IT WAS AN OWN GOAL!!! Everyone looked at me, and it ended up and we won, with me nowhere to show my face. Sigh.. A day full of bad luck..

Saturday- Woke up quite early in the morning.. Going to play basketball again and thought of the bad luck which happened yesterday.. And hoped for the better. Indeed, I managed to score the most among all my friends in a match.. And regained the confidence I lost yesterday..
I was called the "MVP" by my friends.. maybe the lousiest one in the world.. After that, I went to do CIP for the National Heart Foundation at Somerset MRT.. Makes me feel quite contented when the can become heavier and heavier though.. at about 4.30pm, my shoulder experienced an unbearable pain so I returned back the can and went home.. Saw a bus 190 passed through.. I though I was darn lucky as I don't need to switch buses.. But I was wrong.. SO WRONG.. It didn't go back Choa Chu Kang.. It went to New Bridge Road instead.. When I reached there, I saw an MRT station, it was the North-East line Outram Park station.. So I took it and went to Harbourfront, as 188 can be found there. I was WRONG again.. I didn't find 188.. So I went to the nearest bus stop.. Saw 61 on a signboard at a bus stop.. 61 is a bus which can reach Bukit Batok so I waited and waited and waited. I waited for 20mins and not even one bus came. I bought some dried cuttlefish and got up the bus 97, which was totally anonymous to me as I never sat on it before. And fortunately, it didn't make me regret boarding it.. It reached the Jurong East MRT station.. I took the MRT back home and reached home at 7pm like that. Should have just taken the MRT instead and save one and a half hour.. But never mind. At least I found out more about Singapore through this -.- Then stayed up late at night to watch the match for the 3rd placing between Germany and Portugal. As expected, Germany won.. Now I am posting now.. Feeling dead tired after a whole day.. Gonna sleep now.. Bye~..

Labrador Park

I went to the Labrador park yesterday, which was the youth day holiday. Labrador park is located at Pasir Panjang Road. Leslie, a sec 3 guy in my group, offered us to send us there. We agreed. It was quite a long journey. When we reached there, it was nearly 8am. It was drizzling there but still we walked around, waiting for Ms Foo which was our Projects' Day mentor. We firsted walk until the end of the left side. Located there is a rock which was piled up high called Dragon Teeth Gate. We read about some of the info from the signboards there. Since there was nothing to do, we walked all the end until the right side of the park. It was the fishing spot right at the end. Now then I realised that actually Labrador park is quite a small park compared to parks like East Coast. We waited and waited for Ms Foo and finally she came. She was 1 HOUR late. Sigh, if she had told me she was late, I wouldn't have to wake up so early... Then, we went to the rocky beach. We investigated the grains of sand on the beach, the rocks on the beach. We found out many things that we didn't know. After doing fieldwork for an hour, Ms Foo said she was going back and ask us to continue ourselves. We walked through the aerial staircase all the way up and found out many historical sites.
Another hour passed before we decided to go home. Justin, my classmate, and I had to walk all the way out. We were quite shocked by the distance as it also took quite some time for a car to drive in. Nevertheless, we walked and walked. Out of the blue, we heard the sound of the engine from a vehicle. We turned around. It was a lorry. Justin, being mischevious, went to flag the lorry and the lorry stopped. Surprisingly, the driver offered to send us to the entrance the Labrador Park. We were elated. There, we sat on the back of the lorry, with wind brushing past up as the lorry moved.. It was so "shuang". Little did I know that a nail poke a hole through my pants.. Finally, we reached the entrance of the Labrador Park. We thanked the driver and walked to the nearest bus stop. When the bus 188 came, I was quite amused as there was no one on the bus as I boarded it. As I moved to the rear, I saw a figure sitting there. Then, I realised it was Toon Min, another one of my classmate. We just chatted a while and he alighted at IMM. And I sat through the whole journey until my house...

THE END

School reopens..

Now it's been a long time since I last posted.. My group members and I managed to finish all of the projects before school reopens. We managed to finish all the things in two days or so.(Am I supposed to tell this?) The first two days had been rather slack, no homework for both day. On Wednesday, I had a freaking hard maths worksheet and I finished it on Thursday instead as I had NCC training on Wednesday. Thursday was rather fine and Friday had the most things to talk about. Yesterday was NCC day, I woke up at 5am, wore my NCC uniform and left my house at 5.50am. It takes a longer time to wear on your boots than any other component. Somehow, I managed to got on the bus and reached school at 6.15am. I just went to put my bag and went down to the terraces.. Many people were there already but many came later than me. We just wore on our white gloves, stood there from 7am all the way until 8am. We recited the NCC pledge during the ceremony. We had five people reported sick but there were none for St John, I think. What a disgrace for NCC..
I just wore onto the uniform for the rest of the day. It was darn hot. For training today, the Sec 3 seniors, or our seargeants, took us over for training. Our drills basically sux to the core for my section, cause we were made to do the same tiring thing over and over again. After the long drill section, we had our PT. We managed to pass the SOC (Standard Obstacle Course) in just eleven minutes. Then, we did forty push-ups, which was quite.. easy for me but we did it on the road so my hands were all red even until now.. We then had our debrief shortly afterwards and we were dismissed. I was stepped on the foot twice on the bus. Bad luck.. Sigh.. That's all, Bye~

Last week of the holidays

It has been more then two weeks after my previous post. I wanted to post last Friday but I was too lazy to post so I decided to post today. I was supposed to go to Labrador Park to do some fieldwork for my project but our mentor had no time. Sigh.. I thought I had something to blog.. Nevertheless, I went to play badminton with my primary school friends on Friday. We also played basketball awhile but I think we lost more than we won. I couldn't think of anything to post now. Oh, yesterday was Fathers' day so I went to my grandma's house to celebrate. We ate steamboat. It was the same old thing every year but the interesting fact is I never get tired of it and ate more every year instead. My appetite is getting bigger and bigger... That's all, I try to make up more things to post.. One more thing, I haven't started on some of my projects yet and morever, THIS IS THE LAST WEEK OF THE HOLIDAYS. Think I'm going to die when school reopens... That's all, Bye...

NCC training on 2nd June

Well, this training sux. I reached the school late because I missed the bus. However, sergeant said that my reason was invalid so I had to do twenty push-ups. Then, there was a uniform check. I had three mistakes but someone had five mistakes. We had to do six push-ups for each mistakes, meaning altogether thirty. Barely half an hour had passed and I had already done fifty push-ups...
Then we had our drills section. We had a mock proficiency test. Our drills were very lousy at the start but after a bit scolding by the staff, we managed to do better drills.
Next, we have our PT. Before our PT, we were punished again for not falling in in time. For PT, we were doing many lame things(to me) and got me worn out.
Finally, it's time for the games. We had soccer today... I was the first to score a goal as the ball took a deflection and I saw it coming. I raised my leg up and it just went into the net.-.- Then, I scored another goal shortly afterwards. Once, Gordon, Daniel and I were standing in front of the goalkeeper about 10 metres away. The goalkeeper just passed to us the ball and Gordon just kicked and scored it. We just played on and on until 12.30pm. The final score was 6-2 I think.
Lastly, we had our camp briefing. I found out that I haven't bought lots of things. Think I gonna die soon for the camp... That's all...

The first week of the holidays

The first week of the holidays defintely as I had to go back to school of every weekday. Today, I am supposed to back to school for NCC from 9 to 11 but unfortunately, I' m sick. Finally I can rest for awhile.
Monday
We did a comprehension followed by a short story. The comprehension was very hard that I almost did not have enough time to finish it. For the story, I don't know what to write so I just wrote a simple piece of essay for it. Sigh.. sure get the lowest in class for this short story.
Tuesday
Actually, I didn't go back to school today. I need to go to NUS(National University of Sngapore) to do the SMO(Singapore Mathematical Olympiad). I had not been there before so I don't know what bus to take to get there. I asked my friends and they said take 188. Well, I did take 188 to go there in the end but the problem is I don't know which bus top to alight at. I took all the way to NUS High School. I thought it was there. I thought I missed the stop but I was WRONG. It was supposed to be NUS only. Luckily I alighted at the correct stop. I walked into the school compound and finally saw a map. My jaws dropped. I was at the West of the school but the Lecture Theatre 33 was at the East of the school. I walked for about 10 minutes to the direction of LT33 and saw a map again. I realised that I had walked barely half the distance. I asked the people there for directions and they asked me to take to free shuttle bus to LT33. I was surprised that there are buses which transport you from one area to another in a SCHOOL!! Nevertheless, I managed to reach there at 9am sharp. The SMO test started at 9.47am. It was darn hard(of course) and I anyhow did more than 10 questions. Think I am going to flunk my SMO this time...
Wednesday
Went back to school for a civil defence course. My section IC told me that it will end before noon but it ended at 6pm. For the whole day, we learnt about ways to treat the injured, CPR, extinguish a fire and how to prevent toxic gases from spreading into your house. During the break, I played basketball and I fell down after barely five minutes I played but I still continued playing until the end of the break.
That's all for Monday to Wednesday. Need to go back to school for NCC training this Friday. Sigh...

NCC training yesterday...

I had been unable to sleep right now so I decided to post. The NCC Raining was quite okay yesterday. Our section, which was combined with section 3, did not perform well in our drills so we were punished a lot of times. Now my hand is a bit pain because of the punishments yesterday. I got three mistakes during the uniform check, which was quite okay as there were some who had more than five mistakes... For PT, we did Jumping Jacks, push-ups, sit-ups and I forgot the name of other two. We had to do twenty-eight of each but for Jumping Jacks, we did an extra eight more. Now, it's very painfu to move my arms. Considering whether I want to go for basketball a not... It was very hard(for me). I almost had no time to finish the whole paper. I didn't know what to write for the essay question as this is the first time I am doing it. I also didn't know how to do most of the questions. Dead already... sure fail this science paper...
Today, I also got my maths paper back. I was quite delighted with the results. I managed to score full marks even though I finished the paper in half an hour. YuQuan and Kenji, both of them got 29/40, which is A2. Both of them made the same careless mistake and desperate for ONE mark. Pity them though. Haha.
On my way back home, while on the bus, a worker asked me how to get to Nanyang girl's high school. It was already way pass it so I had a tough time explaining to him how to get back there. In the end, he alighted from the bus at the stop i asked him to alight at. Wish he is able to reach his destination...
That's all for today. Wish tomorrow would be better. Just remembered I haven't polish my boots for NCC... Lazy to polish now... For the first one hour, the CLT's and one sergeant was checking our uniform for mistakes and drills. This is the shortest drill time in NCC I had so far.Next, we went to LT2(Lecture Theatre 2) for a short briefing about the game which we were going to play on that day. The game is called "the game". -.- The name was pretty lame but the game was fun. The whole NCC cohort was split into 2 parts, namely Delta and Echo. There were 2 types of people in the game: the terrorists and counter-terrorists. There are 3 groups of people in each type, called the Gold lanyard, Jockey cap and No lanyard(those who wear the normal uniform). The terrorists had an extra thing, which is the hostages. I was the last one to be caught. I was captured since there was no one to kill me. I was chased by eight people so I lost in the end as I was cornered. One of the sir interviewed me by asking:'How does it feel to be the last one to be caught?'-.- When we switched to be the counter-terrorists, we managed to hold on until the game ends because of Jody. He managed to escape from the opponent. He is darn pro as he managed to hide without being spotted. That's all for the game. I not in the mood to type today as I have a Modular test tomorrow.
Anyway, today was my maths test. It was quite ok, as I managed to do all the questions except the bonus question. I think I was the first to finish the paper as I finisshe dit in thirty minutes. I spent rest of the time checking the paper and surprisingly, I didn't check the whole paper. After it, I got back my history results. I was laughing there as I got another A1 for it. It's the borderline A1, which is 15/20. Our class MSG(Mean Score Grade) is 1.88, which is quite good as we had 17 A1's in our class.
That's all for today. I need to revise for my Biology test tomorrow. Wish I can score better than the class test. I scored a C6 for my class test. Wish it's better. Bye~

Sabbaticals this week...(First Half)

This week practically nothing happened because it's the sabbatical week. Well, I got into the Robotics sabbatical. It's quite okay until now.
Monday
It's the first lesson of the sabbatical. Once we reached there, we gave the instructor $25. It was quite cheap compared to other sabbaticals. Haha. In my group were Justin, Zong Han and two guys from other classes. We were there, familiarizing with the parts which were needed to build a robot. Then, there was this tug of war competition. We made a robot with caterpillar tracks(those tanks use to travel). We just add loads of crap to it to make it as heacy as possible. Surprisingly, we managed to win two matches and lost only one. We managed to win because our robot moved faster, which enabled it to stretched the string further from the midpoint than the other robot. The two matches were won just like that, effortlessly. Then, in another competition, which was the sprint competiton, we were asked to build the robot which was able to passed through all the obstacles in the fastest time as possible. There was also a ball in the middle. If we managed to get the ball pass the finishing line, we will get 2 seconds deducted from our timing. As our motor of our robot, we were unable to make a thing to push the ball to the finishing line. Again, it surprised me. We managed to get a timing of 3.06 and tied with another group. That's all for monday...
Tuesday
I forgot what happened on yesterday. I think there were no competitions. I sat for two pop quiz. I anyhow did it and I managed to get a score of 4 out of 5 for both of the quizzes. I couldn't believe that my knowledge about robotics was not that bad. That's all I could remember for yesterday, as we did programming for the whole day...
Wednesday
Today was the most disappointing lesson on robotics. I got 3 out of 5 for both of the pop quizzes. It's not bad actually, as many others scored somewhat like mine. We managed to come up with a perfect light trekking program before the competition, which was on light tracking(obviously). However, when we came back from recess, our program was haywire, thus causing us to lose the competition. For the whole competition, we just used program 1, which was just going forward. For every time we adjusted the robot, three seconds will be added to our timing. We took only 16 seconds to finish the whole track but we tounched it 9 TIMES, which means 27 seconds will be added to our timing, making it 43 seconds. It sure sux, as we were sabotaged by others thus was forced to do this.
Next was the sumobot competition. We managed to win once. I had no confidence on our robot from the start so I was quite surprised that it even managed to win one match. Our instructors also made one robot. It was gigantic, as it was twice the size of our robot. All the groups lost to this robot. Even the power of eight motors was unable to beat this robot made up of two motors. It was indeed a very strong robot. That's all for today... Wish it will be better tomorrow...

CSM=Combined sports meet yesterday

Yesterday, it was Nanyang girl's and Hwa Chong's Instituition's Combined Sports Meet. It was quite boring actually. We were squeezed into the terraces like a pack of sardines. Everybody sat there, stoned to the seat. I was basically quite bored with sitting there so I took out my handphone and played with it. Well, someone called me in the middle of a cheer. It was so noisy that my friend's voice was inaudible. Actually, I didn't sit there for the whole duration of the CSM. I went to buy something to eat and played chapteh in the canteen for awhile. If you didn't know, we need to give our ez-link card to the NPCC students there before we can walk out of the terraces and around the school compound. There was this NPCC who took my ez-link card and beside him was a nanyang girl selling funfair tickets. Do you know what happened? The NPCC student purposely walked away and the nanyang girl keep on asking me to buy a ticket. Since it was for charity(I think so), I decided to buy a $2 one lor. When I took out my wallet, I found out that my wallet only have five and ten dollars notes. I asked whether there is change then she asked me why not buy the five dollars one. I agreed dumbly. Sigh, my five dollars flew away just like that.
After the combined sports meet, we went to space to check out our results for our Geography paper. I expected to get single-digit marks. If you don't know, I got a F9 for my Geography paper in Term 1. Well, I was first of the few who got it and I took a breath and looked at it. I got 17.5/30 which was C5. I was quite contented with it. At least I passed the paper this time but what infuriated me was that I just need a 0.5mark in order to get a B4. Grrr...
That's all for the 'special' things that happened yesterday. I had been lazy to post yesterday so I decided to post this morning. Going to play basketball with my friend's now. Bye~(Ignore the time when I posted this post. It was utterly disappointing. I will surely get the last in class and I am 100 percent sure of that. Let me tell you about my disappointing results:

English: B4

Literature: B4

Mathematics: A1

(The only subject I am proud of)

Chinese: C5

Biology: C6

Infocomm studies: B3

Integrated Humanities: Don't know yet

As you can see, I already got an MSG(Mean Score Grade) of 3.83333333... and it keeps on recurring and recurring... I will surely be the last in class as you can see, my results sux. I had been scolded by my mum and I can't play computer games anymore. Luckily, this is not the End-of-year-examinations so I am able to revise more and try to score better for the tests which follows. That's all. I don't want to brood over it as it makes me more disappointed. Finally I have time to post. On wednesday and Thursday, I had five tests altogether. History and Geography are mock tests but the rest, English, Literature and Chinese are all common tests. Think I will do badly for all these tests... On Friday, during Biology lessons, I finally had the chance to use the bunsen burner. I almost scalded my hand twice but luckily it only turned bright red. I t was quite fun, looking at the chemicals change in colour when you mixed them. I accidentally poured one chemical into the wrong test tube with another chemical. Luckily, it didn't explode(lol?). During NCC, we had been training on our drills for the whole day. At about 5pm, our sirs or CLT or whatever(I forgot) came to see how our drills are. It was really lousy in the beginning(I have to admit it) and our movement from one place to another is very slow. However, as our scoldings from our Sirs were increasing rapidly, our drills gradually became better and better. Finally, we managed to get five good drills within five tries. It was quite a good achievement as we never had five good drills consecutively before. After that, we were briefed by the sirs, staff sergeant and sergeant. Friday, 28th April, was the most number of scoldings I got in a day. ZZZ.
Yesterday, I went to play basketball with my primary school friends again. While buying a drink, I saw Mr Goh Chok Tong. I forgot what was the status of this person in the cabinet... He was like.. so tall among every other person around him. He was like 190cm++. He was also the most "outstanding" person amongall the people. He also has the most white hair. This is not meant to be an insult as I am stating a fact. Haha. As I lived in Choa Chu Kang, it was PAP and SDA. I think PAP stands for People Action Party and SDA stands for... I don't know. They were driving lorries everywhere asking for people to support their party. It was quite distracting as it always interrupts me while I am studying. Yesterday night, I heard from my mother that the SDA are giving away free biscuits to pull votes. My father decided to take a look so he went to the Choa Chu Kang Garden to see what the SDA talked about. When my father came back, he was drenced to the skin. It was not raining but he sweat until it looked as though he was drenched in the rain. I was glad I didn't go there. Now, Sunday, I am posting now. I don' think I have time to post as I will be going to my friend's birthday party and go to my grandma's house after that. I would be home at about 10+ so I think I won't have the time to post. That's all. Bye~

CIP today...

This is the first time I posted one day after my previous post. Today, there's CIP for me, as I written in my previous post before. I left my house at 7.20am. I reached the MRT station at about 7.30. I looked at the train route to Toa Payoh MRT station and it is estimated to take 38 minutes. At, I won't be late anyway. When I reached there, many of my friends were there already. We just went somewhere (as I don't know where is it). I found out that we were asked to help the Singapore Cancer Society to raise funds. By donating more then $2, you will get a collar pin. So, I teamed up with Daniel to raise funds. For the first hour, I was there, asking people to donate. Whenever someone was going to donate, Daniel will be beside me, telling that person if he donates $2, he will get a collar pin. We just walked around, asking people to donate money to raise funds. We did that for consecutively four hours. Of course, we rest for a while when we were tired. During this four hours, I found out that some people are very generous while some are just... selfish. They pretend as though I was not there. One just took us as a kind of "rubbish dump". He donated all the 5 cents he had. At least it's better then nothing. After doing our CIP, we went to the Burger King to eat. I have to admit that the Hwa Chong people there were damn sick, keep talking about sick things. That's all for today. Actually nothing special happened. Today was also the first time I said so many "thank you's". That's all. Bye~

The fifth week of term 2...

Just did a post but my computer hanged, so I need to redo another. Finally, I don't get angry over small matters like this. Just take as if I didn't do it then I do it again. This week, I got drenched in the rain twice, specifically on Monday and Tuesday. I forgot to bring my umbrella to school so I was drenched to the skin. I finally learnt from my mistake, bringing my umbrella to school on Wednesday, however it didn't rain on Wednesday, Heaven likes to make fun of me huh? I just had NAPFA yesterday. It was quite okay for me, but for some of my classmates who aim to get gold got either silver or bronze in the end. I got gold.
Here are the results of my NAPFA:

Standing Broad Jump=202cm---->B

Sit-up=42---->B

Sit and reach=39cm---->B

Shuttle run=10.1sec----> A

Inclined pull-up=26---->A

2.4km=Not sure. I got between 12minutes and 12 minute 30 seconds i suppose---->B

Overall----> Gold

Nothing special. I only aim to pass only, didn't expect to get gold. I should get A for sit-ups as the PE teacher said that you only need to do 42 sit-ups to get A. I did 42. Then my friend checked the minimum number of sit-ups you need to do is 43. The PE teacher tricked me...
Here's my record:

Primary 4= Gold

Primary 5= Gold

Primary 6= Gold

Secondary 1= Gold

Well, quite proud of my past records. Wish I can continue to get gold.

Also, we did PT using a mach 4 rifle during NCC. I think it is spelled like that. It was dam heavy though, when you carry it with one hand. It weights 4.5kg. It sure made me tired. No choice, we have to learn PDS from July onwards so we had to train our hand muscles. ZZZ. There is CIP tomorrow.(Don't ask me what's CIP. You should know.)Need to go to Toa Payoh MRT station. Must reach there at 8.15am, sell things there. No choice, I have to go to get more CIP hours. Don't wish to go though.

Now that's the end of my post. It's kinda late now so I just sum up everything.
Thursday
I got drenched in the rain while I was walking back home. I couldn't find my umbrella in my bag while I was walking home. I didn't run as I was scared that I fall down. I was wearing my sports shoes at that time, and I sometimes fell while running in my sport shoes on dry ground so I walked all the way home, drenched to the skin.
Friday
There's NAPFA today, running 2.4kilometres. I was having a little leg pain but I still continued to run. I was quite surprised that I managed to jog past many people for 4 rounds. I walked for the fifth round and gathered up all my energy to sprint throughout the sixth round.
Got scolded during NCC. I made five mistakes in my uniform. The five mistakes are:
1) 1 sleeve was far worse than the other.
2) wore my beret wrongly again.
3)the gutters were too high.
4)my boots were not polished very well or my sergeant think that I didn't polish at all.
5) I forgot. Haha
We were practicing drills most of the time so in the end there is lesser time for PT(Physical Training) and and games.
Saturday
Played basketball with my friends. From 8 to 10, I only scored two times. It was the worst record of mine. However, from 10 to 11, I managed to break out of my bad scoring and scored more. I didn't count how much I scored.
I finished all of my homework on this day and spent the rest of the time playing computer games.
Sunday
After being scolded by my sergeant, I polished my boots today until it shone. I found out that I wasn't putting in enough effort to polish the boots so it won't shine.
That's all. I got nothing more to add in now. I got to go. Bye~

Projects Day Preliminary Round

Today was the projects day preliminary round. This morning, I was damn tired because I didn't slept well yesterday night. I didn't even feel anything when my friend stepped on my leg while on the bus. Guess I was sleeping, not enough sleep I suppose. When I reached the school, I met Justin. We two were in a group. We wanted to find Ms Foo and let her see our powerpoint slides. Coincidentally, Ms Foo was walking just behind me but I didn't notice her until Justin told me. We put our bags in the classroom, took our soft and hardcopy of our slides and went to the staff room. We waited for a long time until we saw Ms Foo at her table. During this time, Justin was complaining about the slides I did. There was no choice either because it was too late to change already. I just stood there, hearing what mistake I did for the powerpoint slides. I was quite dumb there because I looked like I was being lectured. Soon and finally, Ms Foo came and took a look at our slides. She said it was actually quite okay. I was happy to hear that but there were some mistakes. =l Ms Foo asked us to relax when she saw our tense expressions on our face. After hearing what she said, we went down to the terraces where our flag raising is held. We just sat there, memorising the slides. Soon, my classmates came and the place became noisy so I gave up on memorising it. After the flag raising, Bryan and I was fighting to read one paper. As he was much stronger than me, I gave up. At 7.50am, we made our way to our venue, which is Computer Lab 1. At there, we just listened on and on to other groups presenting until it was recess. During recess, we were allowed to use the computer so it was a chance to make amendments to our slides. However, Justin was too lazy to do so we just sat there memorising the slides. When Justin was presenting the slides to me, I just sat there listening attentively. However, when I started to present, I said a lot of mistakes. There Justin was, complaining about my bad memory and indirectly praising himself for his good memory. ZZZ. Soon after, it was our turn to present, I just stood there, presented the slides loudly to the judges. During the Q&A session, I got some of the answers to the questions the judges and the students asked. However, Justin just answered all the questions. Fine, it doesn't matter. At 12pm, we moved to LT4(Lecture Theatre 4) and sat there, listening to other groups presenting until 1.30pm. For the whole session, I remembered only three groups:
Firstly: The doomsday portal- I was interested to find out how technology we are using now are able to destroy oursleves.
Secondly: Sex education- Actually I am NOT interested in it. I am just curious to know why they want students to learn sex education in primary schools faster. Example: Learning dating and relationship in P5 and P6. I personally think there is no need for it.
Lastly:iRobotZ(Thats what I think the group name is)- It was about robotics. Lego was used to construct robots. I am already interested in Lego when I was young so I am quite interested to learn more about it.
That's all the projects I remembered in the Resource Developement Category.
We went to eat shortly afterwards in the canteen. It has been a long time since I last ate at the canteen because I mostly went to the poolside restaurant to eat whether during recess or after school.
After that, I went to LT2. At there, I learnt how to make paper lotuses. It was actually quite easy to make out the model but it's damn difficult to perfect it. We just continued doing that for 2 hours. 50% of the recycled paper ended up in the rubbish bin so we were scolded for not putting our heart to fold the paper lotus. We just got scoldings and scoldings. While we were walking back home, we found a worm dangling in mid-air. Some said its trap on the spider web but we couldn't find any. So, we concluded that it's a silkworm when we saw another three worms dangling in mid-air above us. We just couldn't stop laughing when someone walked past and we thought the worm would be on his body. That's all for today. Sorry for another long post. My mum is asking me to finish up as fast as possible as I got school tomorrow. I haven't studied for the literature test tomorrow. Zzz. I feel so relaxed now cause I still had some time left after finishing my homework and playing games. It has been a long time since I last posted. Actually it is not very long. This few days nothing special happened. Just learnt a new thing called binary in Maths. It was damn hard as it consists of only two numbers:0 and 1. I had a hard time transferring the numbers into the number system we are using today. We learnt about rocks for Geography, sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks. I think there is a spelling error somewhere in the words but never mind, I am lazy to change. ZZZ. There is NCC tomorrow. I hate it because I had to fold the sleeves of my NCC T-Shirt, polish my boots and starch my collar. It was damn boring but no choice. I have to go now and fold my sleeves now. Today is no exception. However the timing was brought forward. It was from 8 to 12 today. At first, I was waiting there at the bus stop waiting for the bus. It was already 7.25 and the bus still haven't come. I thought I was going to be late again as there would surely be a traffic jam somewhere. However, I managed to reach the bus stop at 7.55am. I quicly walked towards the Kah Kee Hall with my heavy boots in my hand. However, some of people came late so we fall in later by twelve minutes. As the staff sergeant was lenient in the morning, we did only twenty four push-ups. Then we were briefed on our uniform, how to tie our shoe laces and many other things. After that, we did thirty push-ups, thirty sit-ups and ran around Namly Road. It was quite long however we walked most of the way. The only part which I sprinted was up the 'Namly hill'. I can't believe that I could overtake many others by just jogging up the hill. However, when I reached the top, I was damn tired. I think I was going to just faint but I didn't. We walked and walked instead of jogging so we were told to knock it down if we did not jog. We just jogged and jogged until we reached the field where we played soccer. I was very tired so I didn't ran for the ball when I played soccer. Instead, the ball kept coming to me. After the games, we went back home. That's all for the NCC training today. I posted this as I got nothing to post.=)

Trip to the ACM

I just found out that I forgot to post about the trip to ACM so I'm posting it now...
Last Saturday, we went to ACM or the Asian Civilisation Museum. I thought I was going to be late when I left my house at 7.40am. However, when I reach there, it was only 8.35am. I was even earlier then some of my classmates. Our chairman, Wilson, gave us our ACE assignments. As some people still haven't reached there yet, I read through the assignments. It was pretty hard to describe the exterior and interior of the museum. Once everybody reached there, we were separated into four groups. Then we went in to 'explore' the museum. It was quite boring as I kept on taking notes. Finally I am sick and tired of it so I just heard what the tour guide has to say. It was clearly impossible to remember everything in the museum with my mind. After the tour around the museum, I managed to find two artefacts which caught my interest. Even though I had the time, I was lazy to write it there. Finally it was 11.30am and we were dismissed. I bought ice cream from a nearby shop. Then I followed Shi Cheng and Wei Lun to West Mall and eat. On the way, they kept making fun of me cause of some things(Not to be known). Haha. That's the end. I took a bus back home afterwards.

Last week(Maybe its a bit too late but never mind)

Sorry for posting so late. I have been doing my homework. All those ACE assignments and the PCME worksheets. Sometimes I am free but I was lazy to post. I can't think of anything to post today so I just post what happened last week after the camp.
After the camp, on Thursday and Friday, we were having our "sabbatical" at the LT3(Lecture Theatre 3).(That's what I think) The teachers were Mr Lee, Mr Lee, Mr Chng and Ms Gwee.(The Mr Lee are two different people). Mr Lee was the one who taught us about experimental research first. The lesson was quite boring that I almost fell asleep. I couldn't what he was talking about only heard that we need to go home and do some research on paper aeroplanes. At least I heard the most important part. Then, it was Mr Chng's turn to make me fall asleep. However, I dare not to sleep because Mr Chng was quite fierce. Who knows what punishment he will give me? Mr Chng was doing on Qualitative Research. I focused and listen attentively to what Mr Chng was saying. I understood some parts of it. Finally, it was the last part of the 'lecture'. It was now Ms Gwee's and Mr Lee's to explain to us what is Quantitative Research. We were to do some survey first on your PSLE score, Prelim score and many other things.(I forgotten it was before Mr Chng 'lecture'or after it). Then, Ms Gwee explained what it meant by Quatitative research using chocolates. After doing the experiment Ms Gwee told us to do, we ate the chocolates. The chocolates perk me up. After all these presentations, we were dismissed. That's all for Thursday.
On Friday, Mr Lee and Mr Chng went through and plot the graph using one of the factors against another factor in the survey we did yesterday. Through the results of the survey, we came up with some possible hypothesis. We checked whether the hypothesis were true or false. However, all of them turned out to be false. After our break, it was Mr Lee's turn. We were given some pieces of A4 size paper. We were told to find a spot, do a experiment with your own plane then construct a new one using a yellow colour paper for the competition. Our group found the 'BEST' place to do the experiment and fly out our newly constructed ones. The place was between the track and the terraces. Nobody would come and disturbed or take up our space as it was damn hot, around 12pm. We had no choice but to brave through the heat in order to do our experiment. As we sat down, the seat was incredibly hot but we had no choice. We tried out our competition plane and found out that it was most suitable for the gliding category. After we had finished our experiments, we went back to LT3. Even though we did not managed to win the competition, we learnt what was experimental research. After that, we were dismissed. We have to clean our classroom then go for our EP3 then blah, blah,blah...
That's all for Friday!
P.S. I will try to do a summary on what is Experimental, Quailitative and Quantitative research based on the book given. Give me some time.

Sec 1 camp

For the past three days, I had my Secondary one camp. Let me share with you the incidents that happened. On our first day of the camp, we went to our first campsite which is in the chinese garden. The scenery was quite nice there but the mosquito there weren't.It bit me twice as I didn't put any insect repellent. When we settled down in a big shelter which was where we slept and eat, it was already 10+am. Our class was separated into different groups. I was in Group 12. My instructor is Instructor Shah. That what I think his name is cause of his pronounciation. I settled in the group with a few of my friends. Together with students from other classes, we came up an animal which represented our team. It is the shark. We chose shark as its ferocious and it is determined to get its prey.
Once we finished drawing the picture on a piece of cloth, we went to eat our lunch. The lunch was quite nice. I liked the chicken wing only.Haha. At about 12.30pm, we went for some team-building games. Our first challenge was to tie three ropes: two white and one green across two trees to form a bridge that we can cross. The instructor said to pretend that in the middle of the two trees there's an acid pool. We tried umpteen times and each time we were stopped cause of not having leaders to lead us, leaders have different opinions all these kinds of things. At around 3pm, we finally managed to tie the ropes across.Hooray! Fianally we finished the bridge without getting scolded by the instructors. Shortly after, we went for our war games. We were to construct two 'altars' and catapults. It was not long after that we completed our 'altars' and catapults. Spies were everywhere from the opponent but we were upright so we did not send any spies haha. Soon, both teams were ready. Our main aim was to shoot down and break the opponent's altars. I, as one of the attackers, need to fill up plastic bags with water in the pond in order to create water bombs. I was quite shocked as the water was incredibly dirty but relieved as the same time as i was not the one carrying the 'altars'. Soon, the game started. The catapults fired, spraying the water into the air, trying to wet the altars and cause it to break. However, during the first try, one of our opponents altar broke before it even reached us. We were laughing our head off when we saw that. During the second try, we 'bombed' our opponent altar and the people carrying the altar was drenched from head to toe. In the end, we ended up having a draw instead of a win cause two of our team members were caught cheating. They were scolded by the instructors. After our debrief on the games, we went back to the big shelter to have our dinner. The dinner was quite nice too, same as the lunch. After that, we were assigned to our respective sleeping places. We went for the night confidence walk. It is about holding on your friends' shoulders and walking around holding him while being blindfolded. There we walked and walked and then we returned to the same destination again. It builds up on my trust towards the person in front of me and the whole group if we had followed instructions. We had a debrief and had supper shortly after. Then we went to the toilets to shower. We had no choice but to occupy the girls' toilet in order to shower faster. However, I did not have a proper shower as we got a time limit. When we finished showering, we went back to the shelter. It was already 11.30pm. I just slept there, on the floor, as i did not bring my sleeping bag along. I stared into the air and shortly afterwards i closed my eyes and drifted into sleep.

Day 2

I woke up at 5am. It was cooling there since it was an open area. I got up and brushed my teeth. I talked to my friends for awhile. At 6, we had our morning PT, which is physical training. It was quite fun. Son after, we had our breakfast. It was Nasi Lemak. It tastes quite well with the sambal chilli sauce. After we got ready, packed all our things, we were prepared from the trek to the HomeNS Adventure centre in Bukit Batok. It was approximately 5km. We carried our heavy bags and set off to our destination. We walked and walked. I did not feel very tired as my bag was quite light. When we reached there, it was about 11.30am which means that I had walked about one and a half hour. We settled into our tents and went for our lunch. It was quite ok, but I hate the vegetables. It tastes like... unexpressable. After that, we went for our 'West treasure hunt' as Bukit Batok is in the west. Actually, it is something like amazing race. We just followed the clue and walk towards the destination it was hinting at. Our first stop was a petrol station. We were asked to find out the prices of some items and oil. Once we gathered the information, we passed it to those people who was good in maths to do calculations on what the instructors asked to find out. Then, the presentors were asked to present our final answers. We managed to get our second clue, which is the Bukit Batok Swimming Complex. However, we walked and walked but got nowhere. As we walked further away from the destination, our instructors stopped us. He gave us a lecture on why we always follow blindly the people in front. Afterwards, we went back to the adventure centre again. We changed into our track pants and went for our obstacle course. From the obstacle course, I learnt that teamwork is very important in order to accomplish our tasks. With teamwork, we managed to climb over the wall and balance on a rope. After our obstacle course, we had a debrief again. We had our dinner after that. Quite ok as it was better than the lunch but not as good as fast food haha. We had our campfire afterwards. However, it rained shortly before it so we had to use coloured lights and pretend it to be a campfire. Then we cheered and cheered until it was supper time. We had a currypuff each. We had a shower but I did not have a proper one again cause there was not much time and they shower very slowly. I got fed up with the waiting so I just wet my hair and washed my face. Again, I did not have my sleeping bag so I thought I had to sleep on the floor again. However, one of my friends (I don't know how to spell the name) was kind enough to share his sleeping bag with me. There I was, staring into the space again and drifted into sleep soon after.

Day 3

I woke up at 5.45 today. Did the same thing as yesterday, brush teeth, wash face etc. We just chat there until it was 7.30am when we had our breakfast. Quite nice but its a bit too salty, making me thirsty. Then, we went to unpitch our tents in the campsite. We went for our area cleaning. It is quite boring as we just picked up any litter we saw, no matter how dirty it is. Then, we assembled in our sleeping area. Then we board our bus back to school.Hooray! Finally the camp ended. We had a debrief and complete an evaluation form. Finally, at 12.30pm, HOME SWEET HOME.

Thats all for the Secondary 1 camp. Maybe a little too long.Laugh out loud.

Results of my tests

This week, I got back most of my tests results except Geography and History. Same as in primary school, I scored pretty well for maths and my chinese. The science paper was hard but I was quite surprised when I scored B3 for it. As for literature, I was surprised too. I didn't quite study for it as I forgotten all about it. During the test, I tried very hard to think of quotes in section B. I was relieved as I did not fail. For my English, it was quite ok as english was said to be my worst subject but I scored better for it than science. Infocomm studies was the one that I anyhow did as I did not revise properly on it. For now my MSG was lower than 4. I was happy about the MSG but I will try harder to achieve better results. Thats all!

Cross-Country Race

This Wednesday, we went to MacRitche Reservoir as it was our annual cross- country again. I reached there at about 7.15am as the bus was really crowded with Hwa Chong students including me. We just sat there, on the road, talking among ourselves. Finally, the cross-country race started. As I was the competitor, I begin to run first with the other competitors.Actually, I don't run very fast but someone couldn't run so I was asked to be the subsitute. We wore on our numbers and we set off to the starting point. Soon, the horn blared and I set off running. The uphill and downhill slopes were so slippery that I almost slipped. I jogged and jogged.
Finally, I jogged out of the vast forest and into the pavement next to the road. Some St Johns were there giving out water bottles but they tricked me by taking the bottle back while I was trying to grab it. I jogged and jogged and saw Mr Quek. Finally, I saw the finishing line. I gave my last energies and sprinted through the finishing line. After resting for awhile, I went to drink some cups of Milo. It was so cooling. Then I was there, cheering for our classmates. One of my classmate, YuXuan came in second, after the HwaChong International school 14year old guy. He was damn fast but YuQuan still came in first in the Sec 1 non-competitve.
After that, we were sitting on the road. I don't know who started poking holes in the bottles but soon there were water splashing here and there. Then, other consortiums said bad things on our consortium. They shouldn't have done that as not everyone was doing it. After the prize presentation, I went back home and had a nice long rest.

The unforgettable Friday

Nothing special happened this week but Friday was certainly the unforgettable day of the week. On Friday, during PE, we were asked to run three rounds around the school, along the driveway. During the start of the second round, one of my friends,Jing Wei, was running in front of me. Out of the blue, a bird shit dropped on his hand. How lucky could he be! In order to get rid of the bird shit, he ran faster and spread out his hand. He WIPED his hand using the T-shirt of the person in front of him. I was laughing there and I ran behind him. He kept rattling that he had bird flu(which is impossible). At the end of the second round, a lizard suddenly jumped out of the bushes when Jing Wei was running past. Then, he started to talk about how unlucky he was. At the third round, he saw a dog. He was terrified of the dog as he was scared of stepping on dog poo. Because of the dog, he walked carefully and slowly through the pathway. When the run ended he was there, "showing off" to others how "lucky" he was. On the same day, there is also a geography mock test. However, our Geography teacher, Ms Foo, had no voice on the particular day. So, she was writing on the board to tell us what to do.Poor thing! For EP3, it rained through the whole duration, thus there is no games for the day. How unlucky! This Friday was certainly an unlucky day on some people! I need to study for my tests next week. No time for posting!

The fifth week of school

Nothing to say about it.
